Moving Bodies provide our schools with a quality service, supported by relevant documentation, which is designed to save classroom teachers time and effort.

At Moving Bodies we understand that many primary school teachers don't want to plan & teach PE lessons they don't feel confident or capable of doing well. For example, teachers are often frightened to teach Gymnastics because of the potential risk of injuries to students.

Moving Bodies provides two specialist instructors for schools to assist in teaching Gymnastics, Dance, Track and Field, Games & Sports and Gross Motor Skills depending on which programs are selected.

Our programs have been designed and structured to provide safety and the highest quality instruction while fulfilling the relevant content strand requirements of the PDHPE Syllabus. We also bring along a large array of equipment and can make use of existing school sports equipment. Two reliable & qualified instructors are provided for each lesson.

We offer all the programming documentation required by the Department of Education. All classroom teachers are provided with a "Moving Bodies Teacher's Pack". These Packs, which are based on the Syllabus Outcomes and Indicators, save teachers considerable time and effort in class preparation and documentation.

Students receive self-assessment record sheets designed to meet the needs of each Stage. These are usually included in Student Portfolios. An Individualised Outcomes and Indicators based assessment system is provided.

Importantly, our programs offer teachers & principals some respite from the time consuming task of having to plan lessons that fulfil the practical components of the PDHPE curriculum.

We can tailor a program specific to your requirements that covers one or several aspects of the PE syllabus. Lunchtime & R.F.F. classes are also available.
